Our Team

Dr. Putterman's laboratory investigates the complex autoimmune mechanisms underlying systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), with particular emphasis on understanding how this multisystem disease affects the kidneys and central nervous system. Our multidisciplinary approach combines molecular immunology, biomarker discovery, and translational medicine to address critical gaps in lupus diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment.
